Description
Ostrich eggs are generally 15 centimeters long, 12 centimeters wide, and weigh up to 1.5 kilograms. The eggshell is about 15 to 16 centimeters in length and 11 to 13 centimeters in transverse diameter. It is round, smooth, and milky white, with an ivory-like texture and luster. Ostrich egg white is transparent and the yolk is slightly white.
